# Jade Denby

**How long have you been part of the Marketing Signals team, and how did you end up here?**

I joined at the start of January 2026. After 8 years at a media agency, I found myself ready for a new challenge. I was attracted to Marketing Signals because the Digital PR team is such an integral part of the agency and not simply an SEO add-on or afterthought. The remote 'work from anywhere' model also allows me the flexibility I need for my family.

**What does a typical day actually look like for you?**

As is typical for Digital PR, no two days really look the same. My role is mostly operational, with a focus on team performance and client strategy. I can check in with the team to discuss client deliverables, prepare a strategy document, attend a senior stakeholder resource meeting, work alongside the AI developer on a team or client solution or be on new business. The variety is what I enjoy.

**What do you enjoy doing outside of work?**

When I'm not working, I'm negotiating my way through the day with my three-year-old. Family time takes precedence, and you'll usually find us at the park, playing football or on fun days out. Otherwise, I'd be meeting up with friends for food and drinks in Manchester.

**What's one thing on your bucket list?**

I love to travel, and I'm already saving for a New York trip with friends in a few years when we all turn 40. There are lots of far-flung places on my bucket list, including Japan, India and Canada.

**What's one piece of advice you'd give someone starting out in marketing?**

You have to be hungry to learn. There are so many online resources and a big community that constantly share knowledge now, compared to when I started. Don't stay in any role that confines you to one area, like campaign delivery. And I guess in 2026, don't be too reliant on AI. Be sure you understand the basics first.

**What's the one tool or resource you genuinely couldn't work without?**

I have a few, honestly, but every Digital PR needs a good media database.
