About Marketing Signals

Marketing Signals is a best-in-class, remote-first digital marketing agency. We partner with ambitious brands across the UK and US who share our passion for growth, and our goal isn't to be the biggest agency out there; it's to be the best at what we do. We're a friendly, supportive team who genuinely like working together. We chat daily on Slack and have a great culture of sharing ideas and bouncing campaigns around, wherever in the world we happen to be working from.

About the role

We're looking for an experienced Senior Digital PR Manager to join our Digital PR team. Reporting to the Digital PR Lead and working alongside another Senior Manager and two PR Executives, you'll take a leading role on our US client accounts. This role would best suit someone in a timezone close enough to comfortably join US client calls during sociable working hours (maximum 8pm - 9pm UK time). The wider Digital PR team is UK-based, so you'll be working transatlantically day-to-day, with plenty of overlap built into the working pattern.

This is a hands-on role for someone who lives and breathes hero data campaigns. You'll be ideating, building, and selling in the kind of storytelling-led campaigns that land top-tier coverage in the US. Day-to-day account management is handled by our AM team, but you'll be a key voice for clients on the work itself, so confident communication with senior stakeholders is essential.

What you'll be doing

Your week will move between ideation, data work and outreach, with time set aside to coach the executives on the team. No two campaigns look the same, but the rhythm will quickly feel familiar.

  • Leading the ideation of data-led hero campaigns for US clients, from first brainstorm to final sign-off.
  • Sourcing, cleaning and analysing data sets to find the story journalists will want to tell.
  • Writing press releases and pitches that cut through a crowded US newsroom inbox.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with national, regional and trade journalists across the US.
  • Reporting on coverage, links and campaign performance in a way clients understand and value.
  • Mentoring PR Executives and reviewing their work with clear, constructive feedback.

You'll also help shape how the team works, feeding into our processes, tooling and the way we share wins with the rest of the agency.

About you

You'll have at least four years of Digital PR experience, ideally agency-side, with a portfolio of campaigns that have landed coverage in top-tier US publications. You understand how Digital PR supports SEO, and you can explain that link to a client without reaching for jargon.

You're organised enough to run several campaigns at once and calm enough to adapt when a news cycle changes overnight. You enjoy the craft of a good headline as much as the numbers behind it.

Nice to have

Experience with data visualisation tools, a network of US journalists you already work with, and a background in SEO or content marketing will all help you hit the ground running, but none of them are essential.

What we offer

We work a four-day week, eight hours a day, with no drop in salary. Everyone is remote-first, and we cover the cost of a co-working space if you'd rather not work from home. You'll receive a generous training budget, private health cover, an annual team retreat and plenty of time to recharge with 25 days of holiday on top of public holidays.

Most importantly, you'll join a team that celebrates good work loudly, shares credit freely and genuinely cares about how everyone is doing.

How to apply

Send us your CV and a short cover note telling us about the campaign you're proudest of and why it worked. We read every application personally and aim to reply within two weeks.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a video call with the Digital PR Lead, followed by a short practical task and a final conversation with our leadership team. If you have any questions about the role before applying, we'd be happy to hear from you.
